This is one of the newest models in the RANGE. The Weber Summit S670 # 2780301. The previous model numbers were 2780001 so check before ordering. I was 
considering the smaller S470 from North line but then i noticed they were selling the S-670 for the same price, so I jumped on it. It comes delivered with (free shipping) and the driver rolled it right into position, in my back garden Patio with a special trolley cart. If you ever plan on moving a baby like this with out a trolley cart, make sure you have a few friends over to help.
It comes packed and fully assembled except the two side wings. A few screws and you’re done. Recommended a 20 # propane tank but I’m looking for 30-40 # because if you use all the burners on max the propane is lost quickly, so have a backup ready. I think the knob and grill lights are fantastic, found them very helpful as the night draws in. There are useful ideas, like the Hidden rotisserie motor, another nice design touch. This freed up shelf space when not in use, no need to remove and reconnect You just pull the tab and it is ready for use.
I do not want to drag this out, but I’ve used all the functions of the grill and the results are very good. It is expensive but worth it. I would think the S470 is just as good for less. Look for excess in other sales. Though I think I got a great deal, the new side vents are much improved on other models with the front and back vents, always found them to seep water right into the grease tray. With out doubt the Weber 2780301 Summit S-670 handles it’s self very well.
